What happens to me?

Lesson Duration: 45 minutes
Learning Outcomes and Specific Purpose:
Students will demonstrate through drama their understanding of what happens to various forms of litter once discarded. The activity forces students to communicate without words '...to suggest what may have happened before and after what is depicted in the image/s' (VCAA, n.d.). This activity also corresponds to the cross-curriculum priority of sustainability as 'Education for sustainability develops the knowledge, skills, values and world views necessary for people to act in ways that contribute to more sustainable patterns of living' (VCAA, n.d.).

Assessment:
Students will be informally assessed on their ability to correctly portray the life of a certain piece of
litter, their enthusiasm, creativity and participation will all be taken into account.
