Students will observe, discuss and critique the art works of the environmental artist Andy Goldsworthy. This lesson relates to the AusVels curriculum statement 'Using appropriate arts language they begin to identify and describe ways they and others use specific elements, principles and/or conventions, skills, techniques and processes and discuss how ideas, feelings and purpose are conveyed' (VCAA, n.d).
Prerequisite knowledge and/or links to previous/future lessons:
No prior knowledge is required for this lesson, however students will benefit if they are aware of some basic arts language.
